Farthingale Lectures/ Talks 2026 on the morning of our Grand Regency Ball Saturday September 19th 10am start
After the success of last years talks on the morning of our Grand Regency ball, we are very pleased to announce that they are happening again, with a new fabulous speaker.

Satin, Snuff & Scandal
Mark Wallis takes the audience behind the scenes of Georgian playhouses to reveal assignations and insults, jealousies and scandals. This illustrated talk will be augmented by items from his collection of antique menswear.
These talks will also take place at the guildhall in Bath in the beautiful Ball room. The talks will start at 10am, each talk will take approximately an hour, and there will be a short break between the talks. The bar will be open, which is right outside the doors of the ball room in the aix-en-provence room, so you will be able to purchase refreshments between the talks.
The same as with the ball, we will not be sending out tickets for this event, we will have a guestlist on the door, of course please feel free to print out your paypal reciept etc, as proof of purchase to bring with you. Also tickets for this event are Non-refundable.
