Made to your size, this waistcoat uses a dark blue satinised type cotton, with multi coloured stripe, and regular embossed flower pattern in between the stripes. Fantastic style of waistcoat for this era, suitably colourful, and with diagonal stripe as was often found at this date, and 2 working watch pockets, and Shawl collar. And we use an antique slider to adjust fit on the back. Lined with unbleached cotton. Here we have a new line to Farthingale. This is a nice addition to any costume of this era, of course worn by nearly all women of this era, and others as well it seems. These are a simple garment, elasticated at the waist, and below the knee, making them a simple pull on and take off job, and versatile on sizing, with a nice false ribbon detail to the knee, to add to the look of authenticity. Made from a nice poly cotton so easily maintained as well.
