The perfect coat to enact the Regency period, books were published regarding the art of cutting collars and the notches for them, many style existed at this date, but this style, the M notch seems to have been the most popular, and was the style most deffinately endorsed by the Dandies, and the likes of Beau Brummel and the prince regent. This really is a lovely reproduction Regency style shirt. It is entirely hand finshed, including the seams which are all flat felled by hand. The collar is very high so that it can be seen above the stock/cravat which is correct for the period. It is made up the same as the Georgian shirts with gathers and gussets and a frill on the chest (but not on the cuff). Made from your choice of fine white cotton lawn or pure white linen. This boot is based on the extremely fashionable style of Hussar or Hessian boots as worn by both Regency Gents and the millitary officers. Please not that this is a costume boot and not a reproduction item, therefore it is made from a synthetic type leather material, but is fully lined with a very comfortable fabric, also synthetic heel. This is a beautiful hat styled entirely after the early 19th century style, made from a beautiful quality wool felt, which is hardened not of the poor quality that is so often found now. Edged with a silk grosgrain tape and with grossgrain band at the base of the crown. This hat tapers slightly as the hat reaches the peak of the crown, and has the amazingly stylish curve to it's brim. Beautiful and iconic shape of hat from the Late georgian and Regency era, making a truely recognisable sillhouette. A wonderfull alternative to the cut away tail coat you normally see to recreate this era, it is the Georgian cut of coat cut slightly higher up behind the knee and sloped away at the front, this style is made to be worn open, with a stand collar pleats to the back and a split in the centre, to the waist, for riding etc. Please contact us with any questions including if you need different sizings etc. This style of coat is generally made from wool, but again please contact us with any requests, and or postage cost to anywhere else in the world.

Has a stand collar, pleats to the back, and centre back vent, or riding vent as was known, as traditional for this date of coat. This is an iconic style of  overcoat from this era, and how splendid they are. And a very practical coat, using triple capes, over the shoulders, a nice big turn back cuff, and cut very full to the floor, making this a very warm style of coat for those chilly days. This coat has stand fall collar, functioning pockets with scalloped edge flap at the hip, with false pocket flap details in the back pleats. Cut with ample room to be worn over a tail coat and waistcoat etc, as is authentic to this style. Single breasted. Made form good quality wool, and lined with black cotton.  This is a beautiful style of waistcoat, perfect for the Regency era. Made from a heavy cream cotton, with a stripe woven through it. Lined with a Floral silk damask, this waistcoat has no watch pockets or even welts, as was fashionably the case during the Regency era, and a corset style lacing to the back for adjustment to fit. Please note that this waistcoat is top stitched by machine, but this looks very subtle on this fabric, if you would prefer, or need hand top stitching, or would rather it just left off altogether then please simply let us know or contact us before ordering.
